Maria Fernanda C'rdova Suxo is a Ph. D. (c) and lecturer in sociology at the University of Kassel. 'M. Sc. in Critical Development Studies and M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies.'Her work experience has mainly involved international cooperation (GIZ) and humanitarian aid agencies.'Academically her focus is on the research of alternatives to development from the experience of social movements and indigenous peoples of the global south. She is also an engaged in projects to promote Andean weavings, as a way of transmitting knowledge and ancestral practices.'Fernanda was born in La Paz and lives in Berlin.
