Thread, the Wireless IP-based IoT Networking Standard for Smart Buildings and Homes

Thread is the networking standard that enables the transition of popular building and home automation standards like KNX IoT and Matter to wireless, IP-based networks. Low-power and mesh-based technology allows it to seamlessly integrate with existing corporate networks. It enables devices using different application domains and even protocols to share the same infrastructure. Maintaining a single IP-based network for lighting, climate systems, access control and other applications makes architecting, installing and maintaining the networks highly efficient and cost-effective.
