The switch to renewable energies is an important element in achieving the EU goal of climate neutrality by 2050. Significantly increasing energy-efficiency is another means of meeting the ambitious target and supported by many stakeholders including manufacturers to car and building industries. After all, the lower the energy demand, the easier it is to provide it from renewable sources. In addition to industry, consumers can contribute to a more stable and efficient energy system through flexible consumption, and solutions in the building, mobility and household appliances sectors.
Lower operating costs, legal requirements, increased customer demands – the switch to energy-efficient products is ongoing and presents its own challenges to both industry and users. Is the pace of progress sufficient? What milestones have been achieved and what is the roadmap ahead? Join this multi-stakeholder panel as we discuss:
* What factors and technological innovations are driving the transition to a more sustainable, energy-efficient and climate-friendly society?
* How are climate-neutrality goals being met through strategies focused on electrification and the increase of energy efficiency?
* What is the role of innovative storage solutions and how far ahead are we?
* What challenges are stakeholders facing in the transition to a more efficient and sustainable energy system?
