In this edition, we are having a chat with Yan Golaz, Senior Vice President of Global Innovation, Home & Distribution at Schneider Electric, who shares with us the latest trends and hearing first hand what the company’s visions are for the long term in terms of sustainability. 

Yan Golaz gives us an insight on the Covid-19 effect on the energy costs and consumption. 

Schneider Electric aims to become carbon neutral by 2030, with zero net operational emission and proposes solutions for energy management, to help its partners to become more sustainable and to reduce their energy costs.

Yan joined Schneider Electric in July of 2021. With over 30 years’ experience, he previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Connected Living within the Home & Distribution division of Energy Management BU. During his time there he held several regional and global positions within the organization.

His expertise spans a global scale including France, Indonesia, USA, Singapore and Dubai to name a few.

Born in France, Yan holds a degree in engineering and a master’s in international business from Grenoble IAE. He has a wealth of experience in management, strategy development and sales. He is also passionate about

making energy safer for all, as well as developing innovative ways to make energy affordable for all around the world.
