IFA Berlin × Metropole Agency: Partnership for Rave the Planet
IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for home and consumer tech, and Metropole Agency are announcing their partnership for Rave the Planet today. The Rave the Planet Parade will wind its way through Berlin for the fifth time on August 15, 2026, serving as a demonstration for peace, diversity, and humanity. The non-profit organization Rave the Planet is dedicated, among other things, to promoting and preserving techno culture as well as raising the social visibility of electronic music culture.

Opening tour with Federal Minister Dr. Wildberger
Dr. Karsten Wildberger, Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and State Modernisation, will open the IFA 2026 on 4 September 2026 with the traditional tour of the exhibition. As in previous years, Kai Wegner, Governing Mayor of Berlin, and Franziska Giffey, Berlin’s Senator for Economic Affairs, will also lead the delegation.
