Prior to his current role, he was president of National Institute of Clean-and-Low-Carbon Energy (NICE), a corporate research arm for China Energy Group. He also worked at General Electric Company for almost 20 years with various responsibilities related to technology development and R&D management in the areas of materials, energy and environmental sustainability.
