Speakers

Gesche Joost is the Director of the Einstein Center Digital Future and a Professor of Design Research at the Universität der Künste Berlin. She conducts research on the digital society and develops new forms of human-technology interaction at DFKI, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, and the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society. From 2015 to 2018, she represented the German government as an Internet Ambassador on the Digital Agenda in the EU Commission. She is the Vice President of the Goethe Institute. From 2015 to 2023, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of SAP SE, and since 2017, she has been on the Supervisory Boards of ING DiBa and ottobock SE & Co. KGaA.
