At IFA 23, we had a chat with Dr. Sarah Qureshi, a Pilot, Engineer, and CEO/Co-Founder of Aero Engine Craft Private Limited. In this episode, Dr. Qureshi uncovered the concealed complexities of contrails and their profound impact on our environment.  

Dr. Qureshi reveals the silent culprit behind global warming—contrails, those white lines in the sky formed by airplane engines. Seemingly harmless, these trails create a cloud blanket, trapping heat and intensifying the greenhouse effect, contributing more to global warming than carbon dioxide.  

Dr. Qureshi highlights the urgent need for contrail-free aeroengines, emphasizing the critical role of regulations, akin to those on the ground.
