Alaian and Qualcomm Technologies join forces to empower extended reality startups

Alaian, the alliance of eight leading global telecommunications companies, has partnered with Qualcomm Technologies. A prominent provider of mobile device processors, the company is set to launch a global call for innovative startups specialising in Extended Reality (XR).

XR, encompassing virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality, is revolutionising industries and transforming the way people interact with the digital and physical world. This new collaboration aims to identify startups with disruptive solutions in areas such as the metaverse, video games, edutainment, industry and manufacturing, logistics, retail, digital social experiences, and more.

Access to Exclusive Benefits

Selected startups will gain exclusive benefits through the collaboration, including access to a vast network of 700 million customers in over 50 markets offered by the participating telcos in Alaian. Furthermore, startups will receive support from Qualcomm Technologies, including the Snapdragon Spaces XR Developer Platform and development kits, enabling them to create and optimise next-generation extended reality experiences.

The startups will also receive dedicated engineering support to overcome technical challenges and maximise the potential of their projects. Furthermore, priority access to the Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder program will provide strategic opportunities and resources to accelerate startup growth.

Alaian and Qualcomm Technologies are committed to supporting the growth and development of XR startups.
