Global launch of HONOR 90 Series set for July in Paris

The new HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro are going global after being unveiled in China

HONOR recently announced its latest smartphones, the HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro, in China. These devices are now set to hit the shelves of global markets too.

The worldwide launch event for the HONOR 90 series took place on July 6th in Paris, France.

Similar Design and Specs, with Software Adapted for Global Market

While both smartphones have already been introduced in China, the global versions are expected to be identical in terms of design and specifications.

However, the global models come with a version of HONOR's software tailored for international markets. This distinction is the most significant difference between the Chinese and global variants.

Differentiating Factor: Rear Camera Island Shape

The HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro share a strikingly similar appearance, but their rear camera islands are feature distinct shapes. The HONOR 90 boasts circular camera islands, while the 'Pro' model showcases hexagonal ones. This subtle variation sets them apart visually.

Notable Specs of HONOR 90 Pro

The HONOR 90 Pro, consistent with its Chinese counterpart, offers impressive specifications. It boasts a 6.78-inch 2800 x 1224 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with PWM Dimming technology.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, it packs a 200-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel telephoto unit. Additionally, the HONOR 90 Pro supports 100W wired charging, features a 5,000mAh battery, and runs on Android 13 with HONOR's MagicOS skin.

Key Specs of HONOR 90

The HONOR 90, similar to the Chinese model, offers a 6.7-inch 2664 x 1200 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and PWM Dimming technology. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and includes the same 200-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field unit.

The HONOR 90 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, supports 66W wired charging, and operates on the same software as its Pro counterpart.
