KIDP

The Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP) is a national design organization affiliated to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE). It was established in 1970 to plan and implement national design policies and strategies. KIDP aims to strengthen competitiveness of the Korean design industrya, and rais the quality of life for people.
 
The Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP) is the national design body in Korea affiliated to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resource (MOTIR). It was established in 1970 to plan and implement national design policies and strategies. Since then, KIDP has continuously expanded the role of design amidst the dynamic changes of Korea’s industry and society, while strengthening competitiveness of the Korean design industry and raise the quality of life for people.
 
KIDP will be introducing 13 manufacturing companies that have been carefully selected and supported under its “Design-Driven Manufacturing Innovation Program,” and 4 leading design studios under the “Design Innovators Program” of Korea.
