Taiwan Startup Terrace is a government project which is launched by the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. To support Taiwanese startups with the global market and drive international startup exchanges, SMESA has established startup bases in both Linkou and Kaohsiung, aim to make Startup Terrace the best launchpad for international startups in Taiwan.
Linkou and Kaohsiung Bases
Both bases provide information and assistance for startup’s business development after evaluation. The services include matchmaking, training courses, finding PoC sites, and so on, to nurture startups from home and abroad.
Soft-Landing Program
Continuing the success of our previous programs, Taiwan Startup Terrace is calling for exceptional international startups established within 8 years (after 01/01/2018) to explore the Taiwan market and local resources through our immersive landing program.
Expand to the Overseas Market
Every year, we also lead startup missions overseas for not only iconic tradeshows around the world but business visits, pitch events, networking, and so on to help Taiwanese startups to find their next potential markets. Our 2026 journeys take us further! We are set to lead startup missions to Japan, Thailand, Germany, the US, and Singapore to showcase innovative solutions.
