Thank you for your interest in the IFA Opening Tour 2024. Please read the important information below and complete the short application form that follows.  

The official IFA Opening Tour will take place on the first day of IFA, Friday, 6th September 2024. We are expecting 50 to 80 journalists to take part in the tour, including national and international news agencies such as Reuters, regional daily newspapers, as well as highly reputed television and radio stations. 

To be eligible for the IFA Opening Tour, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a high-level company representative (C-level)
• Display a presentation of extraordinary product innovations at IFA 2024

Please plan for the fact that, depending on any political involvement on the tour, extensive protocols and relevant security requirements will be in place and must be observed. In addition, a maximum of 2-3 minutes will be possible per stop at a defined location on the stand. 

If you are successful in your application, we will contact you approximately 3-4 weeks in advance of the tour, with full details of the timings and details of the protocols in place. 

The selection will be made by a committee of the Federal Chancellery, gfu and IFA Management. Please understand that your application does not guarantee participation in the IFA Opening Tour.
