Gençler Kablo was founded in 1979 to manufacture cables and wires. To improve quality and reduce costs, the company began producing its own PVC granules in 1990 by investing in granulator machinery. That same year, Gençler Kablo started supplying cables to the household appliance industry, leading to further investment in quality standards and technology. In 1995, Gençler Kablo became the first domestic cable and wire manufacturer in Turkey to receive VDE certification. A year later, the company began producing 90°C and 105°C heatresistant, VDEcertified cables. In 2001, Gençler Kablo earned ISO certification aligned with VDE standards and expanded its product range by investing in power cord manufacturing. As the Istanbul facility could not meet long term growth needs, a new factory was established in Eskişehir in 2010. This was followed by significant machinery investments, including full automatic power cord lines and injection molding equipment. Continued investments in 2013, 2015, and 2018 strengthened production capabilities. In 2020, a new warehouse was built, and in 2022, a new cable production line was installed. After 2022, Gençler Kablo grew further by investing in three new cable lines, three fully automatic power cord lines, and a new building, following agreements completed in 2024.
