IFA creates more space for creators
IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for consumer electronics, home appliances, and future tech, is significantly expanding its content creation show area for 2026. The exhibition space is growing by 70 percent and, for the first time, will span two halls. A key feature of the show area is the Creator Hub at the Palais am Funkturm.

IFA 2026: IFA Audio grows bigger, more international and more diverse
IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for consumer electronics, home appliances and future tech, is significantly expanding its audio segment in 2026. The show area will grow from 2,700 to 3,660 square metres, making it considerably larger than last year. From 4 to 8 September, international brands will present new headphones, speakers, soundbars, DJ equipment and audio products spanning sport, design and lifestyle at the Berlin exhibition grounds. New exhibitors include Edifier, AIWA Europe, TDM, Moondrop, NGS and Ultimea.

IFA Next is bringing more humanoid robots to Berlin than ever before
IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for consumer electronics, home appliances and future tech, is turning its innovation zone, IFA Next 2026, into the biggest showcase to date for humanoid robots. From 4 to 8 September 2026, IFA will be demonstrating at the Berlin Exhibition Centre how humanoid robots and robotic applications are moving closer to practical use in everyday life, the workplace and industry. Around 300 exhibitors are expected in the IFA Next Show Area. The focus on robotics will be complemented by innovations from the fields of smart glasses, AI wearables, PetTech and smart living. Federal Minister Dorothee Bär is the patron of IFA Next.

With BUNT., Luciano and Ikkimel & Friends, IFA Berlin is once again bringing music, live entertainment and pop culture to the exhibition grounds. On Sunday, September 6, the programme will also feature podcast live shows with Wine Wednesday and Mord auf Ex. IFA Berlin × Metropole Agency: Partnership for Rave the Planet
IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for home and consumer tech, and Metropole Agency are announcing their partnership for Rave the Planet today. The Rave the Planet Parade will wind its way through Berlin for the fifth time on August 15, 2026, serving as a demonstration for peace, diversity, and humanity. The non-profit organization Rave the Planet is dedicated, among other things, to promoting and preserving techno culture as well as raising the social visibility of electronic music culture.

Dr. Karsten Wildberger, Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and State Modernisation, will open the IFA 2026 on 4 September 2026 with the traditional tour of the exhibition.
