IFA 2026: Smart living meets wellbeing – these technologies are shaping the everyday life of tomorrow
Haier, TCL, Hisense, and SEVERIN present connected home solutions. Womanizer and Beurer showcase products for health and wellbeing
IFA Berlin—the world’s largest event for consumer electronics, home appliances, and future tech—demonstrates how AI is evolving from an isolated feature into an integrating layer of everyday life. Following numerous exhibitor press conferences during the IFA Media Days, the event continues with keynotes, panel discussions, and showcases. Haier, TCL, Hisense, SEVERIN, and Beurer are presenting new solutions and trends for the connected home. The focus is on applications that make devices more intuitive to control, handle routines in the background, and save users time. Additionally, Womanizer is highlighting the intersection of technology, health, and well-being.
Haier, TCL, and Hisense connect devices into smart ecosystems
Haier presents a connected home ecosystem under the motto "Home of Intelligent Possibilities." A single platform integrates appliances, services, and user experiences. AI-powered solutions analyze laundry loads, identify food items, and monitor cooking processes, among other functions. In addition, Haier is showcasing humanoid robots, cleaning and companion robots, and AI-supported exoskeletons. Beyond these technological innovations, the company used IFA 2026 to make a strategic announcement: starting with the 2027/28 season, Haier will become a global partner of the UEFA Champions League for four years.
TCL is also positioning AI as the connecting layer of its ecosystem. From televisions and smartphones to air conditioners, washing machines, and smart home solutions, AI is designed to interconnect devices and handle everyday tasks in the background. The television, too, is evolving from a conventional screen into a personal AI hub capable of understanding natural conversation, finding content, and controlling the smart home. In doing so, TCL does not treat AI technology as an end in itself; the focus is on tangible everyday benefits, as well as enhanced convenience, personalization, security, and energy efficiency.
Hisense presented its vision of AI-powered "Companion Living" at IFA. This concept involves interconnecting televisions and home appliances, recognizing individual needs, and simplifying everyday tasks in areas such as cooking, laundry care, indoor climate control, and energy management. The goal is a home that responds more intuitively to its residents and makes AI a natural part of daily life. Additionally, Hisense announced at IFA the continuation of its partnership with UEFA EURO 2028.
SEVERIN, Beurer, and Womanizer are also represented at IFA 2026 with their own products
SEVERIN is also showcasing new solutions for the kitchen, home, and beauty sectors at IFA 2026. The focus is on intelligent AI features that simplify everyday tasks and make products more intuitive to use. With its new AI Series, the company is extending this approach to a range of product categories—from smart food preparation to versatile hair styling.
Beurer is presenting new health and well-being solutions at IFA 2026. The range extends from heat therapy and dental care to fever measurement, indoor climate control, and insect bite treatment. The focus is on products that integrate easily into daily life, combining reliable functionality with intuitive operation and modern design.
In addition, Womanizer is showcasing new products at the Beauty Hub. Earlier today, Verena Singmann (Head of Global Public Relations) and Elisabeth Neumann (Head of User Research) took to the Creator Stage to explain why they consider "pleasure" to be part of beauty tech. Their panel, "The Glow You’re Missing: Why Pleasure Is the Ultimate Beauty Tech," explored the brand's origins, the importance of user testing and research, and the connection between pleasure, health, and well-being.
