Plant with Willow was founded in November 2020 by Jared and Jimmy. Our team and our collective plant collections have been growing since. You can now find Willow keeping houseplants happy and healthy across 35 countries with app users in 120+. The Willow sensor measures four critical areas of indoor plant care: light, temperature, humidity and soil moisture. Paired with the Hub (up-to 40 sensors), you get notifications from your plant whenever it needs anything.

What makes us different?

Winning a 'Good Design Award" for consumer electronics in 2024, joining companies such as Samsung and LG as previous winners, our sensor has been precision engineered to achieve a best-in-class product. It houses a custom light pipe using elite-grade optical liquid silicon, incorporates leading sensor and BLE/Wi-Fi chipsets from global leaders such as Nordic and Sensirion and uses bespoke machined stainless-steel rods that are resistant to corrosion from indoor soil mediums. Alongside this, every plant in our database is studied by our internal team of horticulturists and tested in different environments, ensuring we provide you with the best care instructions for your indoor plants.
