IFA Paper – Edition Two

Good to Know

IFA is huge, loud and full of firsts. Think of this FAQ as your shortcut through the chaos – so you spend time exploring not searching.

How is each day at IFA structured?

IFA 2025 runs from 5–9 September at Messe Berlin. On Friday, 5 September, entry is reserved for trade visitors until noon; afterwards the show opens to the public. From Saturday to Tuesday (6–9 September), opening hours are 10:00–18:00. Families, school groups and visitors with disabilities may enter from 10:00 on all event days.

What’s up with the app?

It’s your best wingman. Live since early August, the IFA app helps you navigate the halls, bookmark exhibitors and schedule meetings. Trade visitors just need an email address to unlock all features.

Will there be food?

Of course! Nobody survives IFA on tech alone. From currywurst to vegan bowls and quick snacks to sit-down cafés, the halls and outdoor areas are full of refuel options. Tip: days around 13:00 get crowded, so plan your lunch break like a pro.

Who’s behind IFA?

IFA is organised by IFA Management GmbH – a joint venture between gfu Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH and Clarion Events Ltd. The gfu has been IFA’s conceptual sponsor from the start, representing Germany’s consumer electronics and home appliance industries. Clarion Events, headquartered in London, runs over 180 events worldwide. Together, they keep IFA firmly rooted in Berlin while opening doors for brands and media across the globe.

Where do I charge my phone?

You’ll find charging stations provided by Anker in every hall, plus seating areas where you can recharge your phone – and yourself.
