Jackery Explorer 500 v2: Smallest and Lightest Power Station in Its Class
At IFA 2025 in Berlin, Jackery is expanding its v2 series with an exceptionally handy new model in a sleek, flat design: the Explorer 500 v2. With 512 Wh capacity and a continuous output of 500 watts, this portable power station is designed for anyone who needs reliable power for small devices on the go – whether camping, at festivals, enjoying outdoor activities, or as a home backup solution in emergencies. Around 27 percent smaller than comparable models, it is the most compact LiFePO4 power station in its class.
Fast Charging, Dependably Ready
Equipped with a LiFePO4 battery rated for 6,000 charge cycles, the Explorer 500 v2 offers not only an impressively long lifespan but also consistent performance over many years. Thanks to advanced charging electronics, it can be fully recharged in 80 minutes via AC adapter – or in just 60 minutes in hybrid mode with additional solar input through the DC port. On the go, the Jackery SolarSaga 100W portable panel, for example, provides a steady supply of clean solar energy.
Connectivity for Everyday and Adventure
For maximum versatility, the power station features two AC outlets, two USB-C ports (100 W & 30 W), and one USB-A port. This allows a variety of mobile devices to be operated or charged simultaneously and efficiently – whether working outdoors or enjoying a cozy evening in the van. Multiple safety features ensure maximum protection, including built-in surge protection and Jackery’s intelligent ChargeShield™ 2.0 technology for safe charging and discharging across all ports.
Design Meets Function
The Explorer 500 v2’s modern, minimalist design fits seamlessly into the new Jackery v2 series, impressing with clean lines, premium workmanship, and thoughtful details. Lightweight and equipped with an integrated carry handle, it is the perfect companion for those who want to stay mobile without compromising on reliable power.

Jackery HomePower 2000 Ultra: Scalable DIY Balcony Power Storage with Fire Protection and Dynamic Tariff Integration
Jackery, the global leader in portable energy solutions, will showcase the HomePower 2000 Ultra at IFA 2025 in Hall 2.2, Booth 119 – the new generation of its portable balcony power storage system with integrated inverter, purpose-built for urban and suburban living. This scalable system delivers higher solar yields, intelligent energy management for faster payback, and an advanced fire protection system with real-time risk detection, alert notifications, and automatic fire suppression.
More Power in a Compact Design
With the HomePower 2000 Ultra, Jackery continues to refine its concept of a portable balcony power station. At 40% smaller than its predecessor, this plug-and-play storage solution features a high-efficiency integrated inverter with two MPPT inputs, supporting up to 2000 watts of PV power while simultaneously delivering 800 watts of AC output. It is compatible with a wide range of solar modules and existing systems with MC4 connectors.
The base unit houses a 2 kWh LiFePO4 battery and measures just 270×445×270 mm, weighing 26.4 kg. It can be expanded with up to three additional battery packs to a total capacity of 8 kWh, making it suitable for a variety of applications – from a mobile balcony power station in an apartment to a full home storage solution. The portable system is ready for use within minutes and includes a Schuko outlet that ensures uninterrupted power supply (<20 ms) to connected devices, whether used as a mobile power station or during an outage.
Hybrid Charging and Savings with Dynamic Tariffs
Under optimal conditions, the system can generate up to 2400 kWh per year from solar alone. Its intelligent energy management system offers additional savings potential: bidirectional charging allows the battery to be charged from solar or, optionally, from the grid. This not only reaches 80% capacity in just 52 minutes when needed, but also enables dynamic, app-controlled energy optimisation based on real-time electricity tariffs. In the darker months or during forecasted rainy periods, cheaper night-time electricity can be stored for use during the day.
In combination with Shelly accessories, the HomePower 2000 Ultra can monitor the entire household power flow and selectively control individual appliances – increasing self-consumption rates and further reducing grid dependence.
Maximum Safety with Innovative Fire Protection
Like its predecessor, the HomePower 2000 Ultra features a long-lasting, non-flammable LiFePO4 battery with 6,000 charge cycles. An integrated heating and cooling system for operation between -20°C and +55°C, IP65 certification, and multiple protection mechanisms underline its suitability for residential use and everyday safety.
Most notably, the new model is equipped with an intelligent fire protection system with automatic self-extinguishing capability. It detects hazards such as open flames in real time, even when the unit is switched off. In an emergency, it triggers an aerosol-based suppression system within one second. By combining heat-absorbing processes for rapid cooling with the flame-retardant effects of inert gases and solid extinguishing agents, it effectively prevents the ignition and spread of fires.
Jackery Solar Roof Tiles: High-Performance Design for Every Roof
Jackery presents its XBC Solar Roof Tiles at IFA 2025 in Hall 2.2, Stand 119—an innovative solution for sustainable energy generation that unites design and efficiency. These ultra-thin, high-performance modules deliver up to 170 watts per square metre, setting new standards for residential and commercial buildings.
High Efficiency Through Advanced Cell Technology
At the core is Jackery’s state-of-the-art XBC solar cell technology, with all contacts placed on the cell’s rear side. This achieves an efficiency of up to 25 percent. The subtly curved 150° design not only offers a sleek appearance but also optimises the angle of incidence throughout the day. On roofs with an east-west orientation, the curvature ensures steady energy yields from morning to evening. Measuring only 0.13 mm in thickness, the crystalline silicon solar cells are among the thinnest in their class—without compromise on performance, durability, or longevity.
Seamless Integration Into Any Roof
Suitable for both new builds and retrofits, the tiles are compatible with over 90 percent of common mounting systems and seamlessly complement a range of architectural styles with their Obsidian Black or Terracotta finishes. Solar technology thus becomes a design feature—discreetly elegant rather than overtly technical—ideal for private homes, modern commercial buildings, and architecturally ambitious projects.
