35 years of Aqipa gear gurus – celebrate and win!

Those working in the CE-industry buying or selling lifestyle gear in the audio, imaging or home appliances sector have probably come across this name in the past 35 years. Aqipa was founded in 1990 in a small village in Tirol, Austria. From its humble beginnings as a family company, the team around founder Christian Trapl has evolved into a pan-European powerhouse in distribution and value-added services for brands and retailers alike. It is no coincidence that one of its biggest partners, the Media-Saturn Group is also celebrating 35 years in 2025.
 
Why does it matter for the industry? 

Aqipa has always strived to “unearth” and foster the challengers. The brands that are entering the markets with a new, a fresh, a more consumer focused perspective. Many brands that the Aqipa team has had the honor to work with have become household names in their respective category. But the Austrian group is still hungry and constantly evolving. Searching for new brands and categories and providing better and even more value-added services to the industry. 2025 is a testament to this vision. 35 brands (pun intended) are currently in Aqipas` roster and no trade buyer should miss out on the Sundeck and VIP Rooms 1 and 2 at Grosser Stern (between Hall 10 and 11).
