Our core DJ business started in 1994 as a division of Pioneer Corporation and has played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing dance music and DJ culture around the world. In 2015, the company became independent as Pioneer DJ Corporation and, in 2020, with the aspiration to grow in new business areas, its name was changed to AlphaTheta Corporation. In 2024, we began releasing products with the AlphaTheta name, helping it inherit the longstanding trust we’ve built with customers by employing the technical and design know-how we’ve accumulated over the years, all of which we aim to develop further. We want customers to see familiarity and playfulness in us as we offer value in fresh and unexpected ways, expanding horizons in ways only AlphaTheta can. Meet the XDJ-AN, the new 2-channel all-in-one DJ system from AlphaTheta, designed to deliver a seamless transition from home DJing to club performances.
Many DJs begin their journey using DJ controllers at home, and making the transition to club-standard equipment can feel unfamiliar at first. At the same time, streaming services are becoming an increasingly important way for DJs to discover and access music. The XDJ-AN is designed to bridge this gap by making it easy to perform using multiple music sources in a familiar club-style workflow.
The XDJ-AN supports playback from USB drives, DJ applications on mobile devices and PC/Mac, and streaming services, giving you the freedom to perform with the music sources that suit you best. With StreamingDirectPlay compatibility, you can easily access and play tracks from supported streaming services in your sets.
The system also supports rekordbox Cloud Library Sync, enabling you to synchronize tracks and playlists prepared on PC/Mac to the cloud. Using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you can then directly access and play tracks from your cloud-based libraries from the XDJ-AN without needing to transfer files manually.
