Founded in 2010 and based in Daegu, A-Zone Tech began as a defence software house, developing and supplying combat systems, simulation software and modular common platforms on national strategic defence programmes carried out with Hanwha Systems.
Since 2020 the company has applied that engineering base to AI-driven digital healthcare, specialising in non-contact sensing: gait analysis, biosignal measurement and fall prevention. Its core technology captures a person walking using 3D sensors and analyses the result with AI models, producing clinical-grade measurement without wearables, markers or physical contact.
A-Zone Tech develops both fixed and portable device formats, and is currently researching an LLM-based conversational diagnostic interface so that clinicians and users can interrogate results in natural language. Beyond healthcare, the same capture and analysis pipeline extends to sports motion analysis, fitness training and behaviour recognition research.
