BKID is a design studio led by industrial designer Bongkyu Song, founded in 2006 and based in Seoul, South Korea. The studio works across diverse fields, ranging from craft, high-tech, IT, and industry to contemporary art. We collaborate with leading global brands such as BMW, AUDI, Samsung, LG, DELL, and Disney, building projects grounded in industrial design. Our portfolio spans home appliances, IT devices, medical equipment, digital design, and content creation. BKID has received international recognition, including Innovation Awards at iF (Germany), Red Dot (Singapore), and CES (USA). Beyond client collaborations, we actively engage with startups, artists, and companies exploring new technologies and narratives, bringing them into dialogue with industrial design.
