VCS Infinity Line: Kärcher presents a new generation of cordless vacuum cleaners
At IFA 2025, Kärcher presents the "Infinity Line", a new generation of cordless vacuum cleaners tailored to the needs of modern households. The product range comprises two models – VCS 5-28 and VCS 7-28 Infinity – and combines high suction power with intelligent technology for even more efficient floor cleaning and comfortable application. The devices are versatile thanks to accessories and are suitable for different cleaning requirements.

Intelligent cleaning functions
The vacuum cleaners in the Infinity Line have intelligent cleaning functions: The VCS 5-28 Infinity model is equipped with sensor technology that recognises the degree of contamination and automatically adapts the suction power. This function ensures energy-efficient cleaning on different floor coverings and thus a longer battery run time of up to 60 minutes. The user can manually select between 3 or 4 – with the VCS 7-28 Infinity – suction levels. Boost mode, which enables the vacuum cleaners to clean at maximum power, helps with particularly stubborn dirt.

A special feature of the VCS 7-28 Infinity is Smart mode, which automatically adapts the device settings to the volume of dirt as well as floor type and filter fill level, for the best possible cleaning result and constant suction power. This makes cleaning even more efficient. The top model of the range also has a simple and intuitively controlled display with options for language selection as well as a display of useful information during operation. This includes the remaining battery run time, current suction mode and suction power, as well as helpful quick guides and other useful information for user support, e.g. when the filter must be changed.

The powerful floor nozzle of both models is also equipped with an extra-wide brush roller that reduces hair entanglement and wide-angle LED lighting for better visibility of dirt in dark corners or under furniture. For special cleaning challenges, the new cordless vacuum cleaners can be converted into handheld vacuum cleaners in an instant and by means of attachments such as a crevice nozzle or furniture brush remove dirt in hard-to-reach corners or from sensitive surfaces. The scope of delivery of the VCS 7-28 Infinity also includes a Turbo brush, which effortlessly removes, for example, pet hair, from upholstery. With only 78 dB(A) or 76 dB(A), the devices work very quietly.

Reliable filter system and hygienic cleaning
The multilevel and fully sealed filter system with HEPA filter retains 99.9% of fine dust particles – from allergens such as pollen and dust mites through to the finest dirt particles. Allergy sufferers and anyone who attaches importance to a healthy living environment benefit from the improved exhaust air quality, which is cleaner than the room air. Another advantage: Filter cleaning is effortless and takes place without any contact with dirt, triggered by a simple lever movement, thus enabling hygienic filter cleaning at any time. This not only saves time and effort, but also ensures that the filter performance is always at the highest level and the lifetime of the filter is extended.
Work can be carried out without any interruptions thanks to the replaceable 28 V battery system. Once the work is complete, the devices can be stored and charged in the wall bracket (VCS 5-28) or floor station (VCS 7-28) provided.
In addition to the two top models, the entry-level model VCS 3 Nano expands the new generation of Kärcher cordless vacuum cleaners.
New spray extraction cleaner from Kärcher: SE 2 Spot
Whether it is spilled beverages, fallen food or marks from dogs' dirty paws – the new SE 2 Spot from Kärcher provides assistance quickly and simply when undesired stains occur on textile surfaces. The compact and powerful spray extraction cleaner is suitable for spot cleaning of small areas as well as dirty areas on carpets, sofas or car and children's seats. Thanks to the effective spray extraction technology, it sprays and vacuums in one step so that upholstered furniture and carpets can be deep cleaned without direct contact with dirt.

The SE 2 Spot is characterised by its compact design and simple operation with readily accessible 2-tank system and easily recognisable ON/OFF button. Practical storage possibilities and the short set-up time ensure that the SE 2 Spot is quickly ready for use at any time. The spray extraction cleaner, which only weighs 4 kg, comes with a 4.5 m long cable and 1.8 m long hose, thus offering a large operating range for flexible and comfortable work. Using the new "Spot Brush", a spray extraction cleaner brush for deep cleaning, dried dirt and stubborn stains can also be removed effectively. The 2-in-1 comfort system includes a long suction hose with flexible hinge and built-in detergent hose, which ensures comfortable cleaning.

The SE 2 Spot is available in two different configuration options. The standard version features an upholstery spray extraction nozzle as well as the Carpet Cleaner RM 519 as accessories. The "Spot Brush" spray extraction cleaner brush is included in the "Care" configuration option.

Fully autonomous robot vacuum and mop RVF 7 from Kärcher
With the RVF 7, Kärcher presents its latest robot vacuum and mop, which works fully autonomously in the "Comfort" version thanks to its multifunction station: Charging, filling, emptying, roller cleaning and drying are all done independently by the new Kärcher flagship. The RVF 7 combines thorough wet cleaning using proven Kärcher roller technology with a powerful suction function for dry dirt. Very clever: Thanks to intelligent sensors, carpets are recognised and the wet cleaning roller is lifted when driving over them.

Individual cleaning via app
The RVF 7 is installed and controlled conveniently by app or alternatively manually at the device or station. In addition to the two cleaning modes – dry or wet and dry combined – numerous cleaning parameters such as water volume and suction power or cleaning schedules can be customised. Users also receive a detailed overview of the maps created in order to set up "no-go" zones or have areas cleaned in a targeted manner. Settings can also be made for the multifunction station via the app. These include the activation and deactivation of the roller's drying function or the number of self-cleaning cycles.

Intelligent navigation in any environment
Instead of the usual LiDAR tower, the RVF 7 steers using LiDAR navigation recessed into the device, which also reduces the underride height. The robot creates precise spatial maps, enabling it to navigate reliably even in the dark. Thanks to the AI-supported camera laser sensors, it recognises even small obstacles such as cables and drives around them. The robot also recognises heavier soiling and adjusts the cleaning parameters accordingly. If there are a lot of loose dirt particles, for example, the suction power is automatically increased. It also reacts appropriately to carpets and obstacles. The RVF 7 can easily cross thresholds of up to 18 mm. In addition, fall sensors ensure that the robot stops and reverses before it reaches steps or stairs.

Maximum cleaning performance to the edge
For wet cleaning, the RVF 7 utilises the proven Kärcher roller technology that is already used in the entry-level model RVF 3 and the Kärcher floor cleaners. The roller is continually moistened with water from the fresh water tank, while the dirty water collected is removed from the roller by a scraper edge and stored in a separate dirty water tank. This principle means that the microfibre roller is permanently self-cleaning. In dry mode cleaning is performed to the edge thanks to the side brushes on both sides. Carpet owners need not worry: Thanks to intelligent sensors, the RVF 7 recognises carpets and automatically lifts the roller so that they do not get wet. Alternatively, carpets can be excluded from the cleaning process using the app.

More free time, less cleaning: Maximum autonomy thanks to multifunction station
The RVF 7 ensures effortless floor cleaning and saves time by filling fresh water, emptying dirty water and dust and cleaning and drying the roller fully autonomously via the multifunction station. In the basic version or if required, all tanks can also be emptied or filled manually. The roller can be easily removed after cleaning and cleaned in the washing machine at 60 °C. The voice output and LED signals on the device and station inform users about operating modes, charging status or error messages.
