With a turnover of more than 485 million euros, the Melecs Group is the largest independent electronics development and manufacturing services (E2MS) provider with Austrian roots and more than 25 years of experience. Melecs offers everything from a single source: development, engineering, project management, industrialization, production to logistics. More than 15 years ago, the electronics plant was established in Siegendorf/Burgenland. In 2011, Melecs EWS expanded and opened a subsidiary in Györ, Hungary. A production site was also established in Wuxi/China in 2016 to serve global customers. In spring 2018, the company entered the North American market with the opening of a sales & development office in Auburn Hills/MI. In addition, Melecs EWS became the owner of Prettl Electronics Querétaro, S.A. de C.V. at the end of 2018 and took over the entrepreneurial leadership of this company in Mexico. Electronic components from Melecs can be found in control units and LED applications in cars from international premium manufacturers as well as in household appliances from the European market leader.
