NEURA Robotics was founded in 2019 by David Reger to address key innovation gaps and to establish the era of cognitive robotics. The award-winning innovators from Metzingen follow a strict "one-device" approach across their entire product range – from industrial to household robots. Behind this approach is the idea of a smartphone with arms and legs, combining all central components and sensors for physical artificial intelligence in a single device. With the "Neuraverse", the company is creating the foundation for the iPhone moment in robotics and bridging the gap between technology and humanity. Basic cognitive abilities, safety and operating systems, and an open development environment enable the scaling of robotic applications in unprecedented ways. A growing range of apps and autonomous learning provide robots of all shapes with a broad field of application in everyday life, as well as previously unmatched flexibility and cost-efficiency in automation.
The robotics hub emerging around NEURA is attracting many international industry leaders. NEURA Robotics has formed partnerships with Kawasaki Robotics, Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies, Delta Electronics and other leading manufacturers.
All of the necessary innovations and technological components for this success, including AI, are developed in-house at NEURA Robotics. This has set new standards in physical AI, precision, and safety. NEURA's cognitive robots can see, hear, and have a sense of touch. They act completely autonomously and learn from experience.
Today, NEURA is on track to bring the first humanoid all-purpose robot to market. At the opening of OMR in May 2025, the world's first household robot, named MiPA, was introduced in Hamburg.
Meet MiPA: your intelligent personal assistant for work and life. Designed to make everyday life easier. Powered by Neura’s advanced technologies including smart touch sensing, intuitive AI, and safe touchless human detection — MiPA safely takes on repetitive, tiring, or risky tasks so you don’t have to. Built on a flexible, customizable platform. With modular hardware and easy-to-configure software, MiPA can be tailored to meet the needs of specific applications. Whether in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or the home, it adapts effortlessly and grows with your business.
