Opening tour with Federal Minister Dr. Wildberger
Berlin, 8 June 2026 – Dr. Karsten Wildberger, Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and State Modernisation, will open the IFA 2026 on 4 September 2026 with the traditional tour of the exhibition. As in previous years, Kai Wegner, Governing Mayor of Berlin, and Franziska Giffey, Berlin’s Senator for Economic Affairs, will also lead the delegation.
Dr Karsten Wildberger will then open the IFA Keynote Programme with a high-level discussion with Dr Reinhard Zinkann, Managing Partner of Miele & Cie. KG, moderated by Pinar Atalay. Further details will be announced shortly.
