5G, AI, and IoT are shaping digital communication

IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for consumer electronics, home appliances and future tech, brings together international brands and technologies for the connected everyday life in the Communication & Connectivity Show Area. From 4 to 8 September 2026, Belkin, Proove, Ugreen, Blackview, Baseus, Holdit and Ideal of Sweden, amongst others, will be presenting new products relating to smartphones, mobile devices, accessories and connectivity at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. There will be a particular focus on the iZONE. This curated area will centre on smartphone accessories and smaller mobile technologies. IFA will be responsible for the complete stand construction for the participating brands.

International brands showcase technologies for connected everyday life: 5G, AI and IoT are shaping digital communication

Alongside mobile products and accessories, the Communication & Connectivity Show Area highlights key developments in the connected world. Among the most important industry trends are next-generation networks, 5G and the emerging 6G infrastructure, AI-powered communication, and fully connected IoT ecosystems.
Other topics include connected living and working environments, immersive AR and VR applications, global satellite communications, and secure, privacy-focused solutions. Exhibits include IoT hubs and gateways, modern routers, mobile hotspots, portable translation devices, biometric security solutions and cloud-based collaboration platforms.

iZONE puts the spotlight on smartphone accessories; IFA is responsible for the entire stand design

The iZONE is a special area within the Communication & Connectivity Show Area. Located in Hall 5.2a, it focuses on accessories and add-ons for smartphones. These include apps, charging cables, smartphone accessories, cases and small wearables.

The iZONE is based on a pre-built concept. IFA is responsible for the entire stand construction. Participating brands simply need to bring their products to Berlin. This makes it particularly easy for companies to take part that do not wish to plan and set up their own exhibition stand.

A standardised stand design ensures a consistent and clearly organised presentation of the iZONE. A designated route guides visitors through the entire area and puts the products in the spotlight. The iZONE brings together brands from Germany, China and Belgium, representing an international mix of companies from the technology and electronics sectors.
