IFA Summer Garden: Friday programme cancelled – weekend highlights will take place

Berlin, 3 September 2025 – Last-minute change at IFA Berlin, the world's largest event for home and consumer tech: The planned programme for the IFA Sommergarten on Friday – Max Herre & Joy Denalane – has been cancelled.

Due to health reasons, Max Herre is unfortunately unable to go ahead with his planned tour. This affects all scheduled dates, including the performance at the IFA Sommergarten.

‘It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel all planned MAX&JOY concerts until the end of this year. Unfortunately, my health situation does not allow me to stand on stage with Joy and our wonderful band for you. My doctor has made it clear to me how important it is that I take a break in my current mental state in order to regain my strength. I am incredibly sorry for everyone who was looking forward to the concerts and had made plans to attend. This means a great deal to Joy and me, and I hope to be back on stage in the new year to celebrate with you,’  explains Max Herre, German rapper, singer-songwriter and music producer.

Customers will be informed by their respective ticket providers about how they can still attend IFA free of charge. We cordially invite all ticket purchasers to visit IFA on any day of their choosing.

The rest of the weekend at the IFA Summer Garden, as well as tomorrow's Opening Night, remain unaffected:

• Thursday, 4 September: IFA Summer Garden Opening with Deine Cousine, EVIL JARED x KROGI and Berlin newcomers Sorvina, Danilo Timm & Anne West
• Saturday, 6 September: Exclusive open-air concert by Ikkimel & Friends, who will be performing on the IFA stage in Berlin for the first time
• Sunday, 7 September: Jan Böhmermann & Olli Schulz bring their cult podcast ‘Fest & Flauschig’ back to the IFA stage
