Art Shapes the Future brings together works by Wiktor Franko, Maximilian Neretin and Alba Ruiz Lafuente, selected from more than 1000 submissions to the international Open Call by Volkswagen R, Fotografiska and IFA.
Wiktor Franko's California Flying Cars from the Future moves between imagined futures, documentary aesthetics and fiction. Maximilian Neretin explores the relationship between technology and the human body through a deeply personal self-portrait. Alba Ruiz Lafuente's For the Leisure of Working Insects reflects on work, consumption and the spaces we create for leisure.
