The FAVS × GCSx Executive Forum at IFA 2026 brings together leading voices from the AI eyewear and smart wearables ecosystem to explore how intelligent wearable technologies can evolve into responsible, human-centred companions.
FAVS (Future Audio-Visual Summit) is the flagship industry summit of the World AI Eyewear Alliance (WAEA), dedicated to advancing the future of audio-visual technologies, AI eyewear and intelligent wearables. GCSx (Global Connect Show x), a sub-brand of GCS, is a small-scale, results-driven networking platform designed to help participants build meaningful local connections and accelerate business opportunities.
Jointly organised by WAEA, iMpact and UWA, the forum will bring together industry leaders, AI eyewear brands, technology companies, component and solution providers, ecosystem partners and other key stakeholders from across the global value chain.
Under the theme "The Future of AI Wearables: Intelligent Companions Built with Responsibility," the forum will examine the opportunities and challenges shaping the next generation of AI wearables. Discussions will explore responsible innovation, human well-being, data security and privacy, sustainable development, technological advancement and the evolving AI eyewear ecosystem.
Rather than focusing solely on technological capabilities, the forum will address a broader question: how can AI wearables become intelligent companions that genuinely enhance human life while being developed and deployed responsibly?
