Dr. Alexandra Schmied

Dr Alexandra Schmied is a qualified lawyer and has been working with the Bertelsmann Stiftung since 1999. As a Senior Project Manager, her recent work has focused on foundation development, education, workplace health promotion, organisational and leadership development, rural coworking, digital transformation, and sustainability. In recent years, she has increasingly specialised in the topic of circular economy – particularly in relation to operational-level implementation and knowledge exchange between pioneering stakeholders such as leading companies, universities, research institutes, and economic development agencies.
