Andreas Enslin studied "Industrial Design" in Munich and founded his own design studio "conceptform" during his studies in 1983. During this time he created - initially together with two partners - mainly technically sophisticated products for companies such as Krinner, Dr.Mach, Merck, Rodenstock, Siemens and Ytong AG. From 1999 to 2004, there was also a division that developed Internet presences for companies, institutions, associations and consultants. conceptform was sold in parts in 2001 and the design activities were terminated in favour of the next career step. As Vice President Design at Grohe AG, Enslin played a key role in shaping the brand and design of the fittings manufacturer until 2004, when it was sold to TPG and Credit Swiss. Since 2005, he has had a lasting influence on the appearance of the Miele brand and, as Vice President Design, heads the Miele Design Centre and its 50-strong team, which is now one of the leading in-house design teams in the world. Andreas Enslin is co-founder of the Universal Home industry network, has been an honorary Vice President of the Association of German Industrial Designers (VDID) for many years, is a member of the Advisory Board 4 of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and CIMT (German Innovation Summit) and represents the design associations on AI and digitalisation in the German Cultural Council.
