Following the successful IFA Kick-Off, the IFA Auftakt PK serves as the final official launch moment ahead of IFA Berlin 2025. Exactly one week before the main event, IFA invites select press representatives to an exclusive gathering at the iconic Water Tower on the EUREF Campus. This distinctive venue reflects IFA’s spirit – modern, forward-thinking, and innovation-driven.
The content program opens with Dr. Sara Warneke, Managing Director of GFU, who will present an insightful overview of the German market. Afterwards, Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management GmbH, will outline what to expect at IFA 2025 – from new thematic areas to the Sommergarten and an exciting line-up of stages and programming.
The event concludes with networking opportunities and a high-quality buffet in a relaxed atmosphere.

IFA 2024
IFA 2024 took place in Berlin from 6-10 September 2024 and showcased the latest developments in consumer electronics, household appliances and digital innovation. Manufacturers from all over the world presented new products, while trade visitors and consumers explored trends such as AI, smart homes and sustainable technologies. Despite changes in the industry, IFA remains one of the most important trade fairs for electronics and technology.
