John Olsen

John Olsen grew up outside Copenhagen and started his career with Philips Denmark in 1991. In the subsequent 22 years he held numerous leadership positions within Philips Consumer Electronics businesses.  In 1998 John moved from Denmark to Sweden, then proceeding to work across Europe on behalf of Philips. Ultimately, John held roles as Global Head of Marketing for Philips Television based in their Amsterdam Head Quarters, and Managing Director, responsible for the Philips Television business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, based in Hamburg.

In September 2013 John Olsen joined the Euronics Group as Managing Director of Euronics International Ltd.  Leveraging his rich transnational CE experience, he works closely with and on behalf of the Euronics Board to realise and further develop the international retail group’s strategic goals, as well as leading projects to enhance the performance & cooperation across the organisation.

John lives with his family near The Hague in the Netherlands
