Kostas Vouzas is a globally experienced senior executive with a proven track record and a career spanning over 25 years across Europe and international markets. He has held senior leadership roles in global consumer goods organizations across multiple sectors, including Nike and Royal Philips.

Most recently, he served as CEO of TPVision for nearly a decade, where he led the transformation and growth of the Philips Ambilight TV and audio businesses—realizing sustainable growth, commercial success as well as elevating brand value establishing Philips TV & Sound as premium consumer electronic brands.

He has served on executive boards at Tradeplace and TitanOS, contributing to the advancement of digital platforms and fostering cross-industry collaboration.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering with Management from Bradford University, UK, and a Masters degree from Imperial College London.

Known for his strategic foresight and leadership, Kostas has consistently driven innovation, unlocked new revenue streams, and cultivated enduring customer and brand partnerships—often rooted in strong organizational cultures with a shared vision and clarity of purpose. This discussion will explore the dynamics that drive Smart TV platforms, streaming
services, advertising and usage data. Retailers are becoming significant players in Smart TV, not just with obvious services such as Amazon’s FireTV, but also we will discuss retail media – what it is and how it changes the relationship between brands, retailers and consumers.
We will examine how platforms monetise TV usage. and the interplay of advertising and data. Brands, platform owners and service app providers are all competing for advertising Euros and to sell usage data. How will they co-exist? Are clear winners energing?
