Peter E. Muth is founder and Managing Director of Green Ocean GmbH, a DeepTech startup based in Germany and Switzerland. The company develops, builds, and operates highly innovative technologies to address one of humanity’s most pressing challenges: global water scarcity. With its ORCAN® system, Green Ocean provides a highly efficient, scalable, and sludge-free technology for the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective treatment of toxic industrial wastewater – a milestone in closing the gap towards a circular water economy and in reducing the sector’s carbon footprint.
Before founding Green Ocean, Muth held international leadership positions in technology, plant engineering, and private equity companies, including OC Oerlikon and HOCHTIEF. There, he contributed to major global infrastructure and high-tech projects.
With more than 20 years of experience in strategy, operations, corporate finance, and restructuring, he combines deep industry expertise with entrepreneurial drive. His career represents a bridge from large-scale industry to future-proof technologies that unite ecological transformation with significant cost savings
