Piper for Travel
Piper for Travel is a Travel Reservation AI Agent built to solve a problem every business travel agency knows well: quoting is still mostly manual. Agencies spend hours each week reading client requests, emailing multiple suppliers for rates, waiting days for replies scattered across inboxes and chat apps, then rebuilding pricing sheets by hand — often for quotes that never even turn into bookings.
Piper automates that repetitive middle stretch of the process: it reads incoming requests, sends and tracks supplier availability requests, builds the costsheet automatically, and delivers the approved quote to the client — while leaving pricing decisions and approvals entirely in the agency's hands.
The project grew out of direct conversations with a real travel agency about their day-to-day workflow, mapping out exactly where their time was going before deciding what to automate. It's currently in an active pilot phase with a partner agency, being refined against real quote volume before opening up to more agencies. The long-term goal is a tool that lets travel agencies quote faster, chase less, and spend their time on the business worth winning.
