KAISAR — the first wearable applying red and near-infrared light to men's intimate health.
DARAM Inc. developed KAISAR over four years with medical researchers at a Korean university hospital. The device delivers 630nm red and 850nm near-infrared light for 15 minutes a day, supporting blood flow and everyday vitality. It is not a medical device — it is certified as consumer electronics (KC, FCC, CE, RoHS, UAE RoHS), which allows direct entry into consumer markets worldwide without medical approval timelines.
Proven commercial traction. In two years, KAISAR has sold approximately 9,000 units across 42 countries at US$169 per unit, with the United States as its largest export market — over US$1.5M in retail sales, achieved at a premium price point in a category that did not previously exist. For a first-generation product from an early-stage company, this demonstrates real, cross-border consumer demand rather than a concept in search of a market.
One device, two growth markets. KAISAR was originally researched for male sexual function in men in their 30s–50s. In practice, a second and larger market emerged: men in their 60s and 70s report using it for everyday urinary comfort, including fewer nighttime bathroom trips. A single product now addresses both vitality and healthy-aging demand — two segments that scale independently.
Defensible IP and a clinical pathway. Patents are granted in Korea, the United States, China, Japan and Europe (including the UK). The mechanism research conducted with university hospital medical staff has been submitted for peer review, and a human application study is currently underway in Korea. This gives KAISAR a credible route from consumer wellness toward clinically supported positioning — while continuing to sell today under consumer electronics rules.
