Ladies and gentlemen, guests of IFA 2025,

Today, after 101 years, IFA is more innovative than ever before. Under the motto “Imagine the Future,” it is bringing people from around the globe together – with new ideas, technology and visions for the world of tomorrow.  To all IFA 2025 exhibitors and visitors: welcome to Berlin! You can look forward to five exciting days at the Expo Center at the foot of the Funkturm!  Since 1924, IFA has shown how new technology is changing our day-to-day experience. And it remains one of the world’s most exciting places to discover future tech. If you want to know what our lives, jobs and homes will be like in the future, this is the place to be.  Once again this year, IFA Berlin will be a stage for innovation and cutting-edge trends. And it will show us what’s already possible today: from smart homes to digital health apps, from climate-friendly mobility to everyday AI services – the range is enormous. Major international brands are in attendance alongside start-ups offering the latest tech solutions. At the same time, IFA is much more than just a technology showcase. It’s a meeting point for business founders and creative entrepreneurs from Germany and beyond seeking to use their ideas, know-how and commitment to make the world more connected, more sustainable and altogether a better place. I am very pleased that Berlin is home to a top industry fair like IFA. And I am especially happy about everyone who is taking part this year.
