IFA creates more space for creators
Show Area Content Creation gains a second hall and grows by 70 percent
Berlin, 07 August 2026 – IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for consumer electronics, home appliances, and future tech, is significantly expanding its content creation show area for 2026. The exhibition space is growing by 70 percent and, for the first time, will span two halls. A key feature of the show area is the Creator Hub at the Palais am Funkturm.
From September 4 to 8, international brands in the Content Creation Show Area will present new cameras, drones, lenses, storage solutions, studio and lighting equipment, as well as applications for VR, AR, and AI-powered editing. Smartphones remain key tools for social content, becoming even more versatile thanks to new accessories and AI-driven features. Visitors will experience how innovative content is created and discover new applications that will support creators, photographers, and filmmakers in their work.
“The creator community has long since become a central part of the tech and entertainment industry. With more space, new brands, and an expanded Creator Hub, we are creating a place at IFA 2026 where innovative products and creative ideas come together,” says Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management.
IFA Content Creation: Dell, DJI, Elgato, Insta360, Samsung, Sigma, Volkswagen, and Western Digital showcase the future of content creation
DJI is showcasing solutions for drones, gimbals, and action content. Insta360 and the drone brand Antigravity are complementing the lineup with 8K recording capabilities, AI-powered editing features, and new tools for content production.
Sigma, Lexar, and xTool—along with the GT Company, featuring products from the Kodak and AGFA Photo brands—are also returning to IFA in 2026. The range of products spans everything from cameras, lenses, and storage media to instant photography products, photo printers, and other tools for creative production workflows.
New additions to the lineup include Western Digital, Godox, Neewer, and Amaran. Western Digital is bringing storage solutions for large photo and video files to IFA, while Godox, Neewer, and Amaran are expanding the range with studio lighting, lighting equipment, tripods, and other accessories.
Creator Hub: Samsung is main sponsor, Sony steps up involvement
A key component of the IFA Content Creation show area is the Creator Hub at the Palais am Funkturm. Streaming studios, masterclasses, product presentations, product labs, and the Inner Circle VIP Lounge bring creators together with international brands and industry experts.
Samsung will serve as the official main sponsor for 2026, shaping the Creator Hub with its own dedicated program and interactive formats.
Sony is also returning to IFA following its successful appearance last year, with plans for a technology zone on the ground floor and additional spaces on the upper floor. Sony is likewise stepping up its involvement in the Creator Hub: on the Creator Stage, the company is expanding its lineup from two masterclasses (in 2025) to five sessions. This program expansion underscores the success of last year’s debut.
