Arkin Kol

As Vice President Commercial Partnerships for Europe, Arkin Kol is responsible for all of Dolby’s activities across content ecosystems, broadcast and digital content platforms, and device licensing including Automotive.

Of the 13 years he has been at Dolby, for five consecutive years he led the Europe Commercial Partnership Licensing team. Under his leadership Dolby’s technology penetration grew significantly across consumer licensing devices and Dolby’s Automotive initiative was successfully launched with Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Volvo and Polestar. He is the Vice President Commercial Partnerships for Europe for the past 4,5 years.

Before joining Dolby, Arkin worked for Sony DADC in Austria where he led the sales and marketing teams and was responsible for the company’s P&L including manufacturing, supply chain, digital, and digital rights management. Arkin also has previous experience in M&A, product management, entrepreneurship, and ecommerce. He has a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
