Christian Eckert is Head of Sustainability & Environment at ZVEI e.V. (German Electrical and Digital Manufacturers' Association). In previous roles, he served as Managing Director of the ZVEI Battery Division and, while based in Brussels, as Managing Director of the Power Tools and Welding Equipment Divisions. He also held the position of Secretary General of the European Power Tool Association (EPTA).
