Michael Geisler is an experienced top manager and industry expert who leads the operations of the premium home appliance brand AEG in Germany and Austria. The 50-year-old has been Managing Director for five years and has earned a lasting reputation in the home appliance industry through over 25 years of experience.

Geisler began his career in the 1990s as a Sales Expert at MediaMarktSaturn. He then spent seven years at Spectrum Brands (Varta/Remington) as a Key Account Manager. In 2005, he moved to Grundig Intermedia, where he was responsible for sales, product management, and marketing of the small appliances business unit as Director of Home Appliances. Here, he successfully transferred the high brand recognition and trust in the brand to the growing small appliances segment.

Since 2013, Michael Geisler has been working at AEG / Electrolux in Nuremberg. Initially, he led the small appliances organization for six years before being appointed Managing Director of Electrolux Hausgeräte GmbH and General Manager for Germany and Austria in 2019.

Under his leadership, he pursued a clear specialty retailer strategy and expanded AEG's presence in the mid and upper market segments. Geisler significantly sharpened AEG's brand profile and elevated the premium positioning of the brand in the areas of innovation, sustainability, quality, features, service, reliability, and delivery accuracy to a new level.

Additionally, he promotes a New Work approach that fosters ideas and strong collaboration, and works closely with specialty retail partners.
