Sabrina Patsch holds a PhD in quantum physics and is a science editor at c't. As a theoretical physicist, she conducted research into quantum technologies whilst also working as a science communicator. For example, she led the Berlin team at Pint of Science from 2022 to 2024 and was the German runner-up in the Science Slam in 2021. After completing an internship at the Tagesspiegel, she eventually made the full transition to journalism. As an editor, she explains topics from the worlds of science and technology in a variety of formats, ranging from articles and podcasts to videos on YouTube and TikTok. She particularly enjoys drawing on references from pop culture and science fiction to convey even complex topics in an accessible and creative way. Her work has received numerous awards, most recently the Medal for Science Journalism.
