Today, helping a parent fix their phone means telling them which on-screen buttons to tap over a call ("tap the gear icon… no, the other one"). Screen-sharing apps require the very person who needs help to install, configure the app and grant permissions—steps they may be unable to complete. Comet Q removes this barrier through hardware-level control: the helper sees the phone's screen and operates it across Android and iOS devices.
The recipient only needs to plug in a USB-C cable. Wi-Fi credentials can be pre-configured before delivery or transferred, so the device connects automatically—no app installation, account creation, or settings to navigate. By comparison, a single USB-C cable carries video, control, and power—no external power source is needed.
