Dr. Reinhard Christian Zinkann

Dr. Reinhard Chr. Zinkann, born in 1959, is together with Dr. Markus Miele a fourth-generation Executive Director and Co-Proprietor of the Miele Group. Alongside his corporate role, Dr. Zinkann is, among his other duties, vice president of the Brand Association, spokesman for the domestic appliance industry on the board of ZVEI, the association representing the German electrical and electronics industry, and treasurer on the board of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (German Science Foundation). He is also president of the board of Falke KG aA and a member of various other supervisory boards and steering committees, including the medical device manufacturer Dräger and the kitchen producer Nobilia. Before receiving his doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin, Dr. Zinkann studied Economics, Business Management, History and the History of Music and Philosophy in Freiburg, Boston (Harvard) and Cologne. Before joining Miele in 1992, he was in the employment of BMW.
