At IFA 2026 in Berlin, heiseshow will be covering an event live on site for the first time since its relaunch. This edition therefore focuses on the most important new products at IFA – the team assesses what really matters at the trade fair and which trends and products will shape this autumn’s tech scene.

The heiseshow is heise online’s weekly live programme, in which
the editorial team discusses and analyses the week’s most important tech news. It is broadcast live every Thursday at 5 pm. The programme is presented by a core team – Anna Bicker, Malte Kirchner and Dr Volker Zota. In terms of content, the heiseshow covers the full spectrum of current technology topics: from AI developments, internet policy, data protection and regulation to hardware trends, major tech corporations and consumer issues.
As well as news discussions, entertaining segments such as the ‘Quiz of the Week’, ‘Nerd’s Birthday’ and ‘WTF News’ are also a regular feature of the programme. Interaction with the audience is an integral part of the format: questions can be asked during the programme via the YouTube chat, as well as in advance on the heise forum and by email.
