Malte Kirchner has been an editor at heise online since 2022, specialising in video and podcast productions. He presents the heiseshow and the Mac & i podcast, and served as acting head of the newsroom for one and a half years. His main areas of focus are Apple, AI and energy.
Prior to that, he had worked at the daily newspaper for just under 20 years, several of those in a managerial role. He launched his first website back in 1996. Today, he runs the YouTube channel Apfelfunk and is developing an iOS app.
