Anna Bicker

Anna Bicker had wanted to become a journalist ever since her teenage years, which is why she completed all her school and university work placements at ZDF and, as a student, dashed about mainly at fire service trade fairs as a roving reporter. After completing her degree in political science, she joined heise in 2017 and helped set up the then-new online magazine tipps+tricks, which she has been managing in its entirety ever since, regularly helping desperate readers with their technical problems.

Since 2020, she has also been trying her hand at being a TikToker for heise tipps+tricks, showing her viewers tech and smartphone hacks twice a week – always accompanied by Manni, the plastic unicorn. And to keep things interesting, in 2023 Anna also took on the role of host for the live podcast ‘heiseshow’, where she discusses the week’s latest tech news every week with editor-in-chief Volker Zota and fellow editor Malte Kirchner.
